Welcome to AfriNex. Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the AfriNex platform (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), which includes our mobile app, website, and related services.
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use AfriNex.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use AfriNex. By using the platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and agree to be bound by them.

4. Business Listings & Partner Accounts
Businesses and service providers may register on AfriNex for free or choose paid plans. By submitting a listing, you agree:

That your listing may be verified and reviewed before being published

That AfriNex reserves the right to remove or reject listings that violate our policies
Premium listings and banner ad placements are subject to additional terms and payment.
5. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid listings and ad placements are subject to fees shown at checkout

Payments are processed securely via integrated gateways

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually (as selected)

Failure to pay may result in removal of premium features
All pricing is displayed in your local currency or USD unless otherwise specified.
6. Content Ownership & Use
You retain ownership of the content you post (business name, logo, images, etc.), but you grant AfriNex a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

Display, reproduce, and promote your listing on the platform

Use your content in marketing campaigns, newsletters, or social media (with credit)
You may not upload or submit:

Inappropriate, misleading, or false content

Any content that infringes on third-party rights
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:

Use AfriNex for illegal, harmful, or deceptive purposes

Scrape, copy, or misuse data from the platform

Impersonate another person or business

Upload viruses, spam, or harmful code

Interfere with platform security or performance
Violation may result in account termination or legal action.
8. Regional-Specific Guidelines
AfriNex currently operates in DR Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa. Listings and promotions must comply with local laws, advertising regulations, and data privacy rules in each region.
We reserve the right to localize or restrict certain content based on your geographic location.
9. Third-Party Links & Integrations
AfriNex may include links to third-party websites or services. We do not control or endorse these third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Use them at your own discretion.
10. Privacy Policy
By using AfriNex, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

AfriNex is provided “as-is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee:

That results or deals from partner listings will meet your expectations
You use the platform at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfriNex and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Business losses, data loss, or reputational harm

Issues caused by unauthorized access or account misuse
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the past 6 months.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, unless otherwise required by your country of residence.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Johannesburg, South Africa.
15. Changes to These Terms
AfriNex may update these Terms from time to time. Major changes will be communicated via email, in-app notification, or our website. Your continued use after updates signifies your acceptance.
